Took a chance ordering this bag. I had no doubt based on past experience with OGIO bags that I wouldnt be disappointed in quality, but the big thing that was a risk for me was the lack of detailed photos showing all 17 pockets.

No photos show the laptop pouch, the depth of the pouch that holds the straps and that fact you can easily store more in there than straps. And also fail to show the hidden pocket in the main front side pocket.

Pro's: Lots of compartments and storage configurations. Your bag carried your way. Whether its as a satchel bag or messenger duffel style carry, or a more traditional backpack the way you want to carry this behemoth is totally up to you.

The straps stow away and includes a nice heavy duty strap to convert from backpack mode to duffel mode.

Rip-stop exterior with smooth padded compartments inside.

I purchased this for casual short business trips and 4-5 day getaways--both domestic and international. I've used it on five trips so far and it's far and away the best travel pack for this application. It has loads of room (I've yet to max it out) and the variety of pockets makes it easy to stay organized--especially the separate shoe compartment.
